Training Course Overview

In the first twenty-five years of this century, we have seen a rapidly evolving global landscape that has drastically transformed our political, economic, social, and technological systems. The "New Normal" that has emerged has fostered a volatile environment of chaos and uncertainty, with significant implications for organizations and their leadership. There has been considerable discussion surrounding organizational purpose, long-term sustainability, and the effective integration of AI and digital transformation into existing work cultures. Today, we observe the rise of remote workforce practices, driven by innovative thinking to meet shifting demands. While these "virtual" trends can provide a competitive edge, they also create new challenges for managers and leaders.

While technology continues to reshape our lives, it is important to remember that leadership and management are inherently human pursuits. It is paradoxical that while professionalism now requires the ability to manage cutting-edge technological innovation, the importance of softer interpersonal skills—such as empathy, emotional intelligence, and a focus on employee well-being—has never been more prominent on organizational agendas. Indeed, we are seeing the emergence of the "managerial leader," a role that requires a broader set of competencies than the traditional "transactional" leadership style.

The Management Essentials training course incorporates psychological principles and provides tools and techniques to help both new and experienced managers navigate these turbulent times. It addresses key management challenges while exploring the broader concept of the "managerial leader." The course offers guidance to ensure that organizations and their people remain productive, connected, safe, and successful, while also embracing the need for digital transformation. It aims to help managers build a growing portfolio of skills that foster inclusion, engagement, agility, and flexibility, while also recognizing the ongoing importance of employee development.

This interactive learning experience will have a profound impact on your practice, creating "managerial leaders" who can confidently tackle the key challenges of our time, drive performance, and set a personal agenda for their career growth.
